Conceptual Symbolism and Artistic Creativity

1. General information. It is assumed that the reader is sufficiently informed and knows the details of human epistemology, as well as terms such as instinct or exclusivity. The absence of big names and pompous links are also designed not to clog the head of a thoughtful reader. This does not mean at all that the reader agrees with the given interpretation of many phenomena, but he has the necessary competence or, in modern terms, is in the subject. The origin of modern man as a result of some experiment is considered very probable. However, it is not known for certain whether this action was the creation of a person from inorganic compounds, or, more likely, a suitable animal genome was used to create.

2. The purpose of the experiment and the exact name of the experimenter are difficult to establish. At the same time, it is possible to assume the time of this experiment, which took place 20-40 thousand years ago and led to the existence of people of a modern look, modern anatomy and with a modern psyche. Also, it can be assumed (in any case, according to the results) that the animal genome was used from the great ape, but not from the Neanderthal. Surely, the experimenter had good enough reasons for such an action, but along with the animal genome, he also received innate animal instincts - in modern man.

3. Influence of instincts. Some instincts of modern man are similar to those of animals, but others belong only in him, and one of them is the Instinct of Artistic Creativity. This instinct of the creator and allowed our ancestor to separate from nature. It was this instinct that made the Cro-Magnon people engage in various arts, and it is this instinct that underlies artistic creativity. The Beast controls himself, the Creator controls many things, including the Beast. Various kinds of theological and political projects have confidently proved their failure in the fight against the Beast. He is still strong not only in human thinking, but also in "classical" art. which today is based largely on instincts like sex and hunger. And the so-called "sense of beauty" is perhaps only a free edition of the "basic instinct".

4. Reformatting the artistic criteria of the modern world is a process of changing the priorities of the development of society and the transformation of instincts. And the presence of the Instinct of Artistic Creativity will be proof of progress in the development of this process. This is a marker of the difference between man and his animal ancestor, which, unfortunately, is present today in a minority of the human population. The principles of Conceptual Symbolism make it possible to bring the Instinct of Artistic Creation to life. However, practice shows the elitism of this bringing, since a significant part of society is either deaf and blind to this instinct, or is quite content with the traditional forms of "classical" art.

5. Conclusions. The Beast is a product of Nature and his instincts help him survive in this Nature. However, the Creator is independent by Nature and his instincts help him to govern Nature. Therefore, the Creator is considered to be a higher stage in development. Modern Homo Sapiens, apparently, is a Beast depending on nature, or is only at the beginning of the path of transformation into an independent Creator. There is no convincing evidence of progress in this direction. And, perhaps, the criteria of yesterday, which today's habitually uses, are not applicable to tomorrow's day. Entering the shaky field of hypotheses about the future of art, one can assume that the art of the future will be based on other, different from today's laws, the forerunner of which is Conceptual Symbolism.
